Travel Notice
We understand that on Saturday 5th there are rail works going on between Northampton and
Birmingham, and that there are no trains running on that line after Northampton. This means if you are planning to come by train from London Euston and stations in between you wlll need to add an extra hour onto your journey time as both British Midland and Virgin are running buses from Northampton into Birmingham. It would be wise to check this before booking.

Please note that the 2008 F1 Santander British Grand Prix takes place at Silverstone 4,5, and 6 July. This will delay people travelling by road from the south to Birmingham

Covering the Cost of the Event
Please give as generously as possible to support this event.  As there is no charge to attend, everyone's individual support is vital to ensure that the costs are covered.

Based on the projected budget we estimate that approximately £45 is needed per person attending.

As not everyone will be able to meet this amount, it would be sincerely welcomed and much appreciated, if those of you who are able to, can contribute more towards the overall costs.  Together we can make the event financially successful. Thank you for your support.

Tickets
To enter the hall on the day, you will need to show an admission ticket (or e-mail entry pass) with your assigned seat number.

E-mail entry passes will be sent out to the e-mail address you have given when reserving your seat.

If for any reason you do not receive this e-mail, you will need to go to the Ticket Collection Desk on the day of the event.

Translation
Simultaneous translation will be offered in Hindi and Tamil.  Headsets will also be available for those who require hearing enhancement (in English).

A translation headset must be requested in advance by filling in the corresponding section of the registration form, otherwise the availability of headsets cannot be guaranteed.

Your headset will be on your seat. Twenty minutes before the event starts there will be a translation test so that you can become familiar with the use of the receiver and the earphones.

After the event is over, please leave the receiver and headset on the seat.

Assisted Access
Assisted Access seating is provided for people who would otherwise find it difficult to attend the event, for example, wheelchair users, people with severe mobility problems, or people who need to sit near an exit.

If you need to take advantage of this service, please register online, say “Yes” in the Assisted Access request box, and select from the relevant options.

A maximum of two companions will be able to sit with you but they must be registered in the same group with you and must also answer “Yes” to Assisted Access and tick the Companions check box.

Admission to the event
Hall doors will open 1 hour before the start of the event.

In order to avoid delays going through the security measures at the entrance of the hall, we strongly recommended you arrive well in advance.

Please be in your seat at least 15 minutes before the event starts, in order to be able to guarantee availability of your seat.

For security reasons, you will not be allowed to enter the event with suitcases or large bags, so you are recommended not to take them to the hall.

Please note there will be no cloakroom facilities at the venue.

You will not be allowed to bring cameras or recording devices into the venue.  Photography, video and audio recording are not permitted for any part of the event, except with previous authorisation.
